Everyone will start talking about how they lost this many calories doing this trick or drinking this tea or working out everyday. Even doing diets. Which I totally do not believe into. Fitness means health for me. Fitness is what quality of food I eat everyday. I usually do treat myself at least once a week. I believe you do not really need a diet to resolve your issue. You just need to get into a habit. Be aware of what you eat not how many calories. Quality is way over quantity.
The second advice I can give you is be active. I work long hour shifts. 12 hours a day 3-4 a week. Thankfully, My work is physical and I don’t have to sit in an office. But even in my off days which usually 3-4 days off. I would always find something around the house to keep me busy. I will try to workout at home or go to the gym when I can. My gym routine is weight lifting. I enjoy doing free weights squats. Free weights deadlift. It makes me feel powerful and strong. And, there is no limit to weights. You can always start small and you can go up the more you can do. Always remember form is over function. Less reps and more sets usually works with higher weights. But, if you are just starting. Start with low weight more reps and sets.
The third advice is grocery is where it all begins. Remember it’s a change. It will take time before you get used to it. And, becomes parts of the routine. But, I promise you you will get used to it with your persistence. And, when i say pick healthy. Pick organic food instead of processed food. Get more veggies than pasta, breads and carbs. Get bread that has more fibers than carbs. I mean watch what you pick. Re-think what you pick. When you go to the grocery store.
And, finally pick your snacks wisely. It’s very easy to go to the store. And, feel like you wanna get candy and chips for some treats. Remember, there is a lots of alternatives for those. Instead of eating candy and ice cream try eating nuts, bananas or some fruits and yoghurt. When you pick your yoghurt pick the one that is organic and has less sugar.
At the end, I wanna say that everything starts hard but becomes easy. Do your research on what to pick. And stick to your healthy choices. Believe me. It will change your life.
